Location Data
We want to inform you that during use of our Sargeant Transport Mobilty App, we collect precise or approximate location data from your mobile device if you have enabled us to do so. This data is collected when the Sargeant Transport Mobilty App is running in the foreground (app open and on-screen) or background (app open but not on-screen) of their mobile device. Sargeant Transport collects this data from the time a user logs into the app AND begins a trip or has an active trip in their Trips screen, until such time as a user ends that trip OR logs out of the app. We use this data to comply with Australian transportation safety requirements, improve efficiency of our transportation fleets and track vehicles for delivery compliance.
User Profile
We want to inform you that during use of our services, we collect data when users create or update their accounts. This may include their first name, last name, email, phone number, login name, user settings and password. We use this data for the purposes of providing a secure login platform as well as to secure our services from use by unwanted parties.

We want to inform you that whenever you use our Service, in a case of an error in the app we collect data and information (through third party products) on your phone called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing our Service, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other statistics.

All data is sent securely using the latest security standards over HTTPS and stored securely on a cloud server hosting the main Web application for sole use by Sargeant Transport and Sargeant Transport Carriers and clients as per permissions granted to them by Sargeant Transport Administrators. Server is located in a secure Azure datacentre.
